Nintendo of America president believes the iPhone-maker could cause more damage to the company than Microsoft.
Speaking to Forbes about the competition Nintendo is facing from Apple, Reggie Fils-Aime, says,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], “Do I think that in the near term they can hurt us more than Microsoft? Absolutely.”
Apple recently revealed the results for its fourth fiscal quarter this year, where it sold 14.1 million iPhones. The California-based company also announced that the App Store would be coming to Mac computers very soon.
Fils-Aime told the publication that Nintendo’s edge over its mobile rivals is the depth offered by its games, citing the domination of Nintendo titles in the best-selling games lists for this generation of hardware.
“It’s all about time,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],” Fils-Aime said. “I compete with Zynga, I compete with surfing the net,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I compete with the newspaper.”
